Chat & Challenge - Monday, 9/8 3S Birthday Crop 'Em & Swap 'Em with Kimmi

FYI: You do not have to attend the CESE Chat on Monday night to join in the quick page swap! But there is a freebie that you get for coming to the chat!!!!!

Please follow these guidelines when creating your pages:

1. Create at least 1 – 12x12 inch - 300 PPI Quick Page (LO minus journaling and photos) You may ONLY use the Jellybeans & Birthday Cake freebies that you are receiving from the blog train and or any of the chats or challenges. You're always welcome to create & submit more if you like.

2. Save your quick page as either JPG (no place cut out for photo) or PNG (with a place cut out for photo.) If you're not sure how to do it, please let me know and I will help you out as best I can.

3. Post all your pages here It is also helpful to leave me a note in this thread here so that I can make sure that I have everyone!

4. When naming your quick page before you send it in to me, please name your quick page like this: YourName_3SBDAY08_QP.jpg or YourName_3SBDAY08_QP.png

3Scrapateers 4th Birthday Blog Train

To celebrate this fantastic 4th birthday, the 3Scrapateers team have put together a blog train for you to ride through. Be sure to make a pit stop at each of the whistle stops and if you get lost, just make your way back to The Station. There should be an engineer or two there that can help you find your way.


If you’re hungry for a 3S Birthday Challenge, the stop by The Dining Car to feast on one or two, oh heck, how about three or four. There will be plenty of gifts given to feed that appetite!

Questions about freebies

I just wanted to let you all know that when I post the freebies here on my blog, I will always post the preview of it.


** If I host it on a file sharing site such as 4shared, I will post the download link and the password below the preview. Once you click on the download link, you will need to copy & paste or type in the password just as you see it on my blog. I will usually let the freebies stay up until they are no longer wanted any more, which is at least 30 days if it is hosted on 4shared, so be sure to check out all of my freebies by clicking on the Quick Glance: Freebie link in the side bar.


** Now, if I have my freebie hosted in the 3Scrapateers Freebie Gallery, I will post the link to go directly to the freebie in the 3S freebie gallery. You will need to register as a member at 3Scrapateers, if you aren’t already. Registering is quick, free and easy to do! Then you must be logged into 3Scrapateers to be able to see the freebie gallery. It is a very friendly atmosphere there, so jump on over there and join us for a challenge or a chat or even games! I personally create headers and such for blogs but I am not a techy person so assisting with installing them isn't my thing. A Freebie & Peace and Quiet!

I'm sitting here in a very quiet house. There are no other sounds other than my finger nails hitting the keyboard and once in a while I might hear the tags on one of the dogs' collars jingling.

Today is the first day of school for my kids and I am loving every minute of it too! Usually, Monday through Thursday I am at work during this time but my work schedule was changed for this week, so I am soaking up every minute of silence and calm that I can! Don’t get me wrong, I love my kids, but it sure is nice to have actual quiet time to myself!

During these few hours that I have ALL TO MYSELF (and oh how I am enjoying it too!) I thought I would clean up my hard drives, ok, well at least part of one of them! LOL Well, I found a freebie on my hard drive that I thought that I had already posted for all of you and didn’t! So without further ado, here are several papers and a few ribbons to go with my Is It Fall Yet kit!

I was decorating my desktop with my newest creation Classic Elegance and thought that I would share this with all of you! This is a photo of my daughter Kaytelynn (16 years old), my sons Nick (15 years old) and Tanner (12 years old) that I took at The Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm in April of this year.

There are 2 sizes included in the download: 1024x768 px and 1280x800 px

- minus the darling photo of my gang.

Both were created at 300 ppi and are in png format so that you can slip your favorite photo behind it and be done lickity split!
