Month-In-Review Swap

Another month gone by in 2009? Where is the time going? We'll be celebrating Thanksgiving here in the U.S. this Thursday. Then the shopping season begins on Friday. Did you know that the original Black Friday was actually reserved for September 24, 1869? It was a day when the markets crashed following a failed attempt by some financiers to corner the gold market and it led to a depression. You can read more about it at PBS.

Now it's used to draw people into stores with great deals and to get the retailers to a point where they make a profit after expenses. See? Now you have something to wow your friends with!
