Take a Day Off

Sometimes life can get in the way of the things that are most important to us. We forget about the little things that make us happy. We’re consumed with life’s little issues like work, school, cleaning, making meals, and bills. It takes a life altering event for us to be reminded of the important things – our family and friends. So I’m here to tell you – take a day off! It doesn’t have to be every week but try to do it at least every other week. If you can’t do it every other week, try to do a few hours in the evening once a week.

Turn the television and phones off – yes, even the cell phone. Have a movie night, play games, or just sit down to dinner and talk. Whatever you decide to do, relish the moment and schedule the next one. Put it on your calendar with a digital reminder if you need one so you don’t forget to look forward to the next time. Become active in your relationships so that you don’t look back and wonder why you didn’t try harder. To commemorate those memories, the creative team for Kimberly Stewart and Rina Kroes have created a template and quickpage for you. Don’t forget to run over to Rina’s blog and pick up the coordinating page.
