Monthly Template and Quickpage

One year down and another one starting. Where did the time go? Did you accomplish all that you set out to do for 2009? No sweat, just push it over into 2010 and tell people that you've just "extended your goals." The monthly quickpage/template exchange with Rina Kroes is now available. We chose to wait until after the holidays to give it to you in the hopes of providing you the opportunity to put those photos into the layout.

This month's template comes from Denise (aka - wererich). When you go to Rina's blog, you can pick up the coordinating quickpage and the wordart made by Bonnie (aka - bonbeechler).

Many, many thanks for all the support you have given to Kimberly and her Royal Muse Team. You all truly make the job of designing fun and inspiring. We hope that we've inspired you with our layouts, templates, and quickpages. We also hope that 2010 holds many more blessings for you and your family. Keep scrapping your memories and we'll see you back here next year!

Month-In-Review Swap

Another month gone by in 2009? Where is the time going? We'll be celebrating Thanksgiving here in the U.S. this Thursday. Then the shopping season begins on Friday. Did you know that the original Black Friday was actually reserved for September 24, 1869? It was a day when the markets crashed following a failed attempt by some financiers to corner the gold market and it led to a depression. You can read more about it at PBS.

Now it's used to draw people into stores with great deals and to get the retailers to a point where they make a profit after expenses. See? Now you have something to wow your friends with! Make sure you get those cameras out this week so you can scrap those memories with this month's quickpage made by Denise (aka wererich). Bonnie (aka bonbeechler) made you some gorgeous wordart too! Then run over to Rina Kroes' blog to get the coordinating template. Here are the items used to make this month's goodies:

It's a Special Day!

Another year has passed, taking with it all the difficult times and leaving us with the joys of memories. Today is Kimberly’s birthday (or Kimmi as she’s known to most). The Royal Muses team have created a special set of cards to share with Kimmi and you. We are giving them to you in plain format so that you can give them to your loved ones. Please join us in wishing “Her Royal Highness” a very Happy Birthday! Here is a poem I located that expresses all the thoughts we’ve had over the past week while creating these fabulous works of art.

Birthday Blessings By Joanna Fuchs

Instead of counting candles,
Or tallying the years,
Contemplate your blessings now,
As your birthday nears.
Consider special people
Who love you, and who care,
And others who’ve enriched your life
Just by being there.
Think about the memories
Passing years can never mar,
Experiences great and small
That have made you who you are.
Another year is a happy gift,
So cut your cake, and say,
"Instead of counting birthdays,
I count blessings every day!"

The following cards were created by The Royal Muses Team. You'll find their name above the card and then the gorgeous creation below. At the end you will find that we've provided a link to all of these fabu cards. If you have the time, please leave Kimmi a special message. I know she'd truly appreciate it. Special thanks to all the team members that created these great cards. **Happy Birthday Kimmi from all your Royal Muses. We Love You!**

New Month-in-Review Quickpage

My favorite time of the year is Fall. The air is cool enough for the fireplaces to burn but warm enough to go without a coat. The smells are plenty with the burning wood and soon-to-be holidays. The best part about Fall are the changing leaves. The Northeastern area of the United States is experiencing earlier than expected foliage change. What an exciting time to get those photos in and memories recorded! Go out and enjoy the weather before old man winter comes knocking on your door. Stop and smell the excitement of fall and enjoy using this quickpage. If you get a chance, come back here and leave us a link to your layout so we can leave you some love. Remember to run over to Rina Kroes' blog to get the coordinating template. This month's gifts are made by Marilynne (aka ScrappyDiva) and the Wordart is by Bonnie (aka bonbeechler).

Free Blog Wear for You!

Photobucket

Wow, the summer is winding down and school is back in session!

It has been super busy around here and there just isn't enough time in the day to get everything done! On top of school shopping, my work schedule changing upside down this week, the usual everyday things that happen and becoming a non-smoker (6 days today!)...

I also caught a nasty cold/flu and it has just about wiped me completely out.

Before I forget, be sure to check out the fantastic sites that I link to, especially for super cute graphics and printables,
such as Lisa Craig's site Primsy Doodle Designs. She has some of the most darling country and whimsical graphics!
Click on the blinkie in my side bar to the left and check out her site!
Fabulous sales going on all of the time!
Oh, be sure to sign up for her newsletter so that you can stay up to date on all of the new things as she adds them
and tell her that I sent ya!

I finally got this month's Blog Wear freebie done for you all. I only made one set this time due to being so sick this week. I just can't sit at the pc long enough to get much done! I do hope that you like it because I used my newest kit, Lost, to create it. If you choose to use it to decorate your blog, link us all up so that we can all stop by and ooohhh and aaahhhh!

And now for your Blog Wear.....

New Blog Swap

Can you believe summer's over? The Northeast never really had one. The leaves started turning colors at the end of July. Kids are going back to school and before you know it, winter will weasel it's way into your homes. It really feels like this year has just blasted through without giving anyone a chance to enjoy it. Since the months seem to be flying by, we figured we'd help you with your scrapping. This month a template is available here with the matching quickpage over at Rina Kroes' blog. This template is made by Denise (aka - wererich). Scroll down for a preview and the links to download. We'll see you back here soon!
